How Much Do Dentures Cost in Australia 2023?

This is a full upper and lower denture made by Darius Northey, Dental Prosthetist Buderim & Bribie Island

According to our research, the cost of dentures in Australia is estimated to be anywhere between $2,500 to $5,500 in the year 2023. This considerable difference in pricing for a few reasons that we dive into later.

Cost aside, recognising signs that you need a new denture is also important. An indication that you may need an updated denture includes difficulty with eating, speaking or because the fit has changed over time due to natural movement.

Don’t ignore ill fitting dentures. You deserve teeth (and a smile) that look good, work well and make you feel comfortable, happy and confident!

Why Do Denture Costs Vary?

Cost of dentures can vary in Australia, depending on quite a few factors such as type and materials of the dentures, complexity of the case, location, the number of teeth being replaced and experience of the Dental Prosthetist.

As an example, at All Smiles Denture Clinic, we use the BEST, the most expensive false teeth in our dentures. Other denture clinics might have cheap false teeth in their dentures!

It's wise to ask questions. Cost is not always an indicator of quality - there are excellent dental health professionals operating at both ends of the price spectrum.

Ask about the materials used, type of teeth, dentist and lab processes involved in making your dentures when looking at prices to ensure you are getting the best value for budget you can afford.

Dentures are a very cost effective way of replacing missing teeth. At All Smiles Denture Clinic, we make high quality dentures with the best quality products and materials we can buy. This ensures that our customers receive the best possible fitted dentures that will outlast cheaper versions.

The cost of our dentures vary due to four main reasons:

  1. The number of teeth missing;

  2. The different materials used ;

  3. The design and techniques used to make the denture; and

  4. The level of difficulty & complexity of your individual case;
