Are There Different Types of Dentures?

What Type of Dentures Do I Need?

There are two types of dentures -

  1. removable partial dentures and

  2. full dentures.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH ONES I NEED?

We will consult with you to determine which ones will work best for you

A removable partial denture attaches to your natural teeth with metal clasps or precision attachments. This means you may be able to keep some teeth.

A complete denture can be either "conventional" or "immediate". Immediate dentures are inserted right after your teeth have been extracted, so you won't be without teeth for any period of time.

"Conventional" dentures are made after your teeth have been removed and gums have healed. This can be anywhere from six to eight weeks after your teeth are taken out. Call Darius to find out what type of denture might suit you best!
